Practice Manager / Business Development Manager - Plymouth

Location: Ivybridge, Devon (Plymouth)

Salary: Competitive, + performance based bonus

(Expectation £30’000 - £40’000 per year, subject to negotiation)

About the Practice:

Our client is a busy, patient-focused dental practice committed to delivering outstanding care and exceptional patient experiences alongside nurturing our growing team. We are introducing our first hybrid Business Development Manager/Practice Manager role to our practice to help us grow, enhance our services, and ensure our patients receive the very best care.

Role Highlights:

This role will involve you leading initiatives to attract new patients, promote private treatments, and drive overall business growth. You’ll work closely with our team in practice ensuring the smooth day to day running of the business alongside having opportunities to develop marketing strategies, manage patient retention programs, and identify opportunities to increase revenue while maintaining excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to increase patient numbers and treatment uptake.

  • Lead marketing campaigns across social media, digital platforms, and the local community.

  • Oversee patient experience programs, membership schemes, and recall systems.

  • Track business performance and report on key metrics.

  • Support and train the team.

  • Work with external stakeholders to ensure business continuity and productivity.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferably in dentistry).

  • Strong commercial awareness with a target-driven mindset.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

  • Confident working with KPIs, budgets, and reporting.

  • Creative, proactive, and enthusiastic about growth and patient focused care.

  • Previous experience leading a team as a dental practice manager or lead nurse, preferred.
