What We Do For Practices

Fastnet Group are always focused on our clients needs. We always provide support during and after we provide them with a suitable candidate.

For example, if your practice is both a Private & NHS Practice, we can source a candidate from our pipeline that is comfortable working in either environment.

Does your practice use specialist equipment that you wouldn’t find in all practices?

For example: CBCT Scanner, Intraoral Scanner, Laser Dentistry Unit, CAD/CAM Milling Machine, Dental Microscope, Piezoelectric Surgical Unit, Digital SLR Camera, Nitrous Oxide Sedation System, Phosphor Plate Scanner, Air Abrasion Units, Caries Detection Devices, Implant Motor & Surgical Kit, Digital Occlusal Analysis Systems, 3D Printer, Ultrasonic Scalers with LED Tips.

We understand that while all dentists are qualified to practice, not all of them will have experienced with specialists equipment. Our recruitment specialist always ask our clients for specific details about the practice including any and all equipment they would need their potential employee to have experience in. Similarly when sourcing and screening our candidates we have them complete detailed application forms including sections in which they have to specify what equipment they have experience in and our confident in using.

Does your practice specialise in a particular area of dentistry?

For example: Orthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Implant Surgery, Prosthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, Cosmetic Dentistry, Preventive Dentistry, Laser Dentistry, Special Care Dentistry.

Our team cross references each of these specialist areas and skillsets that they require with our candidates, ensuring that whoever we put forward to your practice is already well versed in the area of dentistry that your practice specialises in.

Is your practice set up in a particular location or structure?

For example: Your practice is in a remote or rural location, There are implications with travelling to and from the practice, Your practice is located in an area with limited accommodation, The dental setup is orientated to support both Left Handed or Right Handed practitioners.

Our team similarly cross reference these requirements with our candidate, in particular we have a influx of overseas candidates who will be able to relocate if necessary. We check for specific certifications that our required for different candidates including: GDC Registration, UK or EU Dental Degree, ORE / LDS, PLEU, VTE, NHS Performer Number, VISA requirements / sponsorships. We even check if the candidate is Left Handed or Right Handed as we understand it could determine how the practice would need to be set up to suit them when performing surgery.
